Bow Repair
Classic Wooden Sailing Vessel
Structural deterioration in the bow section required the full removal of all degraded material. The main structural piece was rebuilt by laminating multiple strips of oak with epoxy, forming a solid and homogeneous assembly. The connection to the existing structure was made using scarf joints, maximising the bonding surface and ensuring structural continuity.
The hull planking was restored using mahogany boards, also bonded with epoxy and scarf joints — ensuring a clean transition between new and original material, and returning the vessel to the integrity and character of a classic wooden build.
